Weather & Cancellation Policy

Unfortunately, the weather and Lake Superior do not always cooperate for safe and successful tours. Client safety is our highest concern! Sometimes we have to cancel tours due to wind or inclement weather. When this happens, we try to work with your vacation plan to schedule your tour for another day while you are in the area. If it does not work to reschedule your tour, we offer a full refund of the deposit or any fees you have paid towards the tour. When we have to reschedule tours, we prioritize based upon date of reservation (meaning the earlier you submit your reservation the higher your priority). This can be a huge advantage to getting on the water!

We understand things happen in life and sometimes you have to cancel or change your tour. We want to make it as easy as possible to do, so just give us a call! Any reservation is eligible for date or time change at no charge, based upon availability, up to 2 weeks before the tour. There is a full refund for canceling a tour four weeks or more before the tour. Cancelling two to four weeks before the tour, there is a 50% refund given minus a $20 processing fee. No refunds will be granted with cancellations with less than two weeks’ notice before a tour. In some cases, cancellation fees can be waived, but this is only in extreme circumstances.
