2.5 hour Historic Madeline Island Tour - Join us to learn about Madeline Island’s History and stories, to see the island houses, cliffs, caves, and varied terrain. Also, see the bordering islands and the lakeshore of Michigan on a clear day. You’ll boat about 35 miles as you pass the ice road launch, boat houses, state park, and beautiful north shore of the island. It looks so different from the lake...
3 hour Snorkel Tour - Snorkel two shipwrecks! The Fin McCool and the Fedora - amazing wrecks in shallow water, one of them over 100 years old - hear the stories, see islands along the way, and jump into the waters of Lake Superior...
4 hour Island Tour - Join us to sightsee, see the twin tower lighthouses, kayak the sea stacks and ‘little caves’ of the Chequamegon Sandstone, hike the Tombolo between the islands that have connected up over the last 10,000 years, and walk on the ‘singing sands’ of Julian Bay...
5 hour Island Tour - Join us to boat approximately 60 miles and to kayak the ‘big sea caves’ of Devil’s Sandstone, to view most of the islands from afar, to see three types of sandstone and rock formations, to hike to a lighthouse and dock at another, to stop at Manitou Fish Camp and hear the stories of the fishermen of old...this trip has options for stopping at a few islands, swimming and having a picnic at the beach, sightseeing only, or spending the entire time off the boat kayaking the caves and islands!
All Day 7 hour Island Tour - The Motherload of all adventure boating lies in this trip! See multiple lighthouses, kayak around an island full of Devil’s Island Sandstone sea caves, hike a small island that’s a mile long, climb on the rocks, see the open waters by boating around the outer ring of an island or two, see the varied rock and sandstone formations of the islands, and just have a fantastic day on a boat on these big waters of the lake!
Guided Sea Kayaking Options
Madeline Island - Enjoy 2 or 4 hour Guided Sea Kayaking tours of the slough, lagoon, and cliffs and ‘little caves’ of the town and state parks. Paddle past beautiful beaches, beach comb for agates, picnic and take a jump off the cliffs on the island! Beginners learn how to paddle and problem solve in a kayak, and more experienced kayakers can learn to roll, make a crossing, or just to become a better paddler. This isn’t the small lakes of MN or WI, so please, take a guide in the big waters and be safe!
Bayfield and Meyer’s Beach - Enjoy of 2 to 4 hour paddle of bayfield area beaches and snorkel a shipwreck if you so desire! or meet near Cornicopia and truly sea kayak with our tandems at the ‘big caves’ in a sea kayak! How cool! :) :) Beautiful pillar type caves exist on Meyer’s beach - learn how to be a good and safe paddler in the big waters!
We partner with two SCUBA organizations for those of you interested in snorkeling! Please inquire by calling 651-644-0333 and we’ll assist you!

Tour Options and Details - Go Boating with Family and Friends!

All trips depart from La Pointe, Madeline Island or from Bayfield, WI. The standard boats we use are a 21 foot Crownline, a 22 foot Larson, and a 25 foot Sea Ray. All prices listed include the boat, kayaks, life jackets and US Coast Guard approved boat Captains.
Individuals, couples, familites and groups welcome. Trips depart with a minimum 4 people and maximum 6 people. Our routes are determined on a first come first serve basis. Walk-ins are welcome, but planning your trip with us ahead of time will ensure a spot on the boat!
Gratuities are greatly appreciated.

There are 21 islands of National Park offering intriguing history, amazing geology, unique wildness, hiking to lighthouses, kayaking in sea caves, snorkeling ship wrecks, and beach combing or beach RELAXING!
